Play Bluegrass is a songbook and guide to bluegrass music. Every song has its key, chord progression, lyrics, and free sheet music where available. Every article is written in plain language for people who are learning the tradition.
The site is run by MJ Duford, a picker in the Okanagan Valley, BC. If you play bluegrass, you already know the tradition stays alive because people pass it on. This is my way of passing it on.

Every PDF on this site is free. Download, print, share, take to your next jam. The melody lines are transcribed by ear and checked against multiple recordings. If you find an error, let me know and I'll fix it.
